Male Mods Severely Lacking

Hi everyone, I don't know about anyone else out there, but I have noticed a substantial lack of male mods for the female players. You can find all kinds of mods for female harems or torture rooms, etc. but I have found very few mods that use male harems, or male anything for that matter. I know there are a few mods out there for sexy male armor, but again few and far between. Not everyone plays a male character in Skyrim and I would like to see some effort made into creating more male mods to satisfy the female genders needs and wants too. If I had any skill at all in creating mods, I would try and do this myself, but I am extremely stupid when it comes to understanding mod creation, so I have to rely on the community to come up with more of the great work I have seem and played so far. The only real male mod that I have come across so far is BBL Luxury Suite, which is great by the way. Maybe something can be done from the Dibella standpoint, and someone out there could put together a hang-out or player home that encompasses that Divinities practices and fetishes, just a thought, a wish, a hope for more male mods.

Cheers, all :wallbash:

Unfortunately, nearly any modder - male or female who makes something not a tin can for men is branded not normal and practically hounded out of the modding world by homophobic kiddies. Alien Slof, who is a very female modder and excellent artist made clothing mods almost exclusively for men - as well as some very good non clothing mods - was trolled so badly by the kiddies that she quit modding almost completely. I lost track of how many we have banned for this, but they just keep coming. Most of these morons never even considered that she just might really be a she.

She has come back recently with some great horses, skeevers and a few other creatures for skyrim

She did have quite a bit of male only clothing for Oblivion. She may have some for Skyrim on her own site

Solf is a damn good modder. After she released the Goth Shop mod for Morrowind, I completely ignored any of the armor mods that I downloaded and just used her stuff. It was really, it had stuff for people like me who like to see my vampire or werewolf character wear something a bit more fitting for someone like them and it had things for people that like to see men wear the kinky stuff.

Pretty much Bben said it all..

I used a number of Slof's mods in the past. All of them were very good.

As for the homophobia comments; I don't think she should have stopped modding for that.

I would put a wager on how many of those "homophobic kiddies" that Bben mentioned were under 18. I would probably say the majority, without a doubt. The rest I would consider probably extremely insecure about their own anatomy... As it is a very common thing, now i'm not saying that it is probably only teenagers and under 18s; as I know that most who are older than 18 who feel insecure sometimes - either male or female.

Needless to say.. It's good to see Slof is back modding; I think modders just need to ignore that kind of stuff, they are banned quickly, and their opinions don't matter. Criticism is fine, but trolling isn't.

P.S. I am yet to see a mod which is to totally "WoW" me.

Jav.

Thank you everyone for your replies so far. I am relatively new to the online experiences of gaming, so I am somewhat ashamed and disgusted that such a fabulous modder as Slof felt pushed out of the gaming community over some narrow minded comments. I have used her work and commented to her several times about how fantastic the art work and re-textures are. I currently use all of her animal mods and I did take a quick look at her website, thanks for that. I will go back to it when I have a few extra minutes to look properly. I hope that she does come back to male modding as the community is lacking for it. In the meantime, I too am a female and I am attempting to learn my way around the creation kit and other mods out there so that I can hopefully, come up with something on my own. Hopefully, Slof or someone else will take initiative and positive feed back from this message and come to the rescue of all the frustrated female players looking for male mods....

Cheers, and thanks for taking the time to reply to my query. .

PS. Slof, I hope you see this message, and take comfort from the fact that you are supported by the modding community and that is all that matters. As long as you get enjoyment from what you are doing, put aside the snide remarks and take pride in what you have created, your work is fantastic.

I don't get it and I probably never will. The mods are free to us all in more ways than one and the mod authors have even put in countless hours of their own time to do requests from people they don't even know. I was never into Slof's work but she can do what I can't, so respect is due. People are so ungrateful.

Anyways, I agree that there is serious disequilibrium between male and female mods regarding this type of content. But to be fair, some female-only armors are outstanding (like the eisen platte, bloodwitch, and imperial investigator sets) in that they are so diverse in comparison to one another. Male armors don't have this diversity IMO. I really hope you find what you're looking for though, I know the feeling.

Thanks for that thoughtful comment. I agree, these people put their heart, souls, tears and sweat into these mods. I have become fast friends with a few people that are absolutely great at modding, and I would be more than happy and proud to call Slof a gaming friend too, if she would consider it. I could certainly use her help and expertise in trying to create my own mods as I am a complete noobie at modding. In any event, it is nice to see that there are other people out there that are missing out on these mods too, not just me.

Cheers, all
