So I have been having a ton of problems lately with Skyrim: CTDs and f****d up scripts screwing up my saves. I have fixed the script errors causing my bloated saves and CTDs but now I'm getting an error that I have never seen before in my 300 hours of playing Skyrim. I have uninstalled/deleted everything Skyrim on my computer and then reinstalled everything from scratch and after around 2 -3 hours I get this error. Then I go to play again thinking that it's a fluke and I get another one a few minutes into game play. Googling the problem hasn't done much to help, since their solution was to uninstall, clean the hard drive and then reinstall.

Anyone have this problem too and know how to fix it??

Sorry for not understanding, but do you mean a billion new games or a billion saves? :s

Also re-check your papyrus log. And I have to ask, how much RAM do you have?

how large is the log? how many lines in notepad++?

Where would I be looking for the papyrus log?

Nevermind...I'm an idiot lol. I've been using papyrus log

It is 5996 lines long

The lines that repeat the most are Dawnguard stuff.

With the fresh install I also added all of my mods back in.

Also according to the log a scripting error didn't cause the crash.

Well then of course you would crash. Why did you install all your mods again?

I'd say delete and reinstall, this time skyrim and dawnguard ONLY no mods and see if it crashes. Then install mods, a couple at a time and see if it crashes, but first make sure they're compatible with dawnguard.
