Myuym
This youtube video they show unnadded features for skyrim. It's really quite interesting too see, It's quite old, from February but that makes it more interesting to see what has been added already (mounted combat, ranged/magic killcams etc)What has not been added by bethesda but by mods (darker nights and build your own home, etc) And what has not been done by either but we might see them appear sometime (working rope, spears + anims etc) I'm quite interested in how modders see this, as an example of what is possible or as an warning not to do mods like those because beth may make them sooner or later rendering the redundant For example one of the coolest things were the seasons mod and the footsteps mod, people might be encouraged that it is possible or might not attempt this mod because the chance bethesda will make a better mod sometime later. What do you guys think?
Tzontlimixtli
I think spears are in order. :P
dragonslayer2k12
I vaguely remember a huge uproar over spears either being taken out of a previous TES game or not added to it officialy many years ago. Maybe this is where the whole spear popularity stems from for some players?
Tzontlimixtli
It could be. I came to The Elder Scrolls just after Oblivion had become well established, so when I backtracked to Morrowind I did wonder why crossbows, spears, darts, etc were no longer included. Considering the scope of the lore and the cultures they've created, it'd be a shame to have such a limited weapon list. Not to mention how important spears have been for both hunting and warfare. mrbisshie
In Morrowind I liked to poke people with spears. I had an Argonian who used nothing but spears. I felt like Aqua Man! Except I wasn't human, and I was a Reptile, and couldn't command slaughterfish to stop attacking me and kill my foes. =( I also enjoyed the Ninja Stars, and would use them a lot on my thief characters. I liked feeling all Ninja like! Especially as a Khajit with night eyes! Chucking Ninja Stars at people in the middle of the night, from people's roofs, while being able to see in the dark! gigantibyte
Dragon mounts! That should have been in the game day 1.
Deleted3507349User
*sigh* I'd like to see race-based weres. Having kitties and reptilians turn into canines just seems kinda wrong to me.
Myuym
I think that there are some interesting catogories, 1 they can be implemented in the game without adding new content. like ranged/magic killcams and mounted combat2 they can be implemented but needs adding new content, therefore it will only be in DLC like werebear, spears, assasinthingies, goblins3 they are more like modders resources and little chance that it will be added. like the rope and stuff. But quite a lot has been added already, hoping they will add the footprints and seasons in an update.Though I don't know how much processor cost it has. maybe these things won't be done because Xbox can't handle it :( Morrowind had a different combat mechanic, slash, chop and poke. Poking with a spear was the only way to get damage out of a spear. I still want it though. But if there are spears to be added we will need to wait for another DLC I think :( The Werebeast based on races is also an awesome idea, I agree most with the argonians though. A kitten changing in a werewolf is a smaller change than a human to a werewolf. But argonians should change in a sort of weredragon Like these from the Skyrim monster mod http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/9694-2-1332590035.jpg
