jinxes
Guys I do not know if this is the right place to ask but how can I edit the hairs of my downloaded mod companions? I can not find them on the object window when I filter their names. You help will be much appreciated as I am a beginner at using CK. Cheers! By the way I am still having the face body color mismatch where I tried the ctrl = F4 thingy but still no progress for me Edited August 9, 2012 by jinxes
Mujuro
To be clear, are you trying to change the hairstyle of a modded companion to a different, but existing hairstyle (change from style A to style B) or are you trying to modify the hairstyles themselves (e.g., create style B using style A as a base model)? If the former, open the Actor from the Object Window, scroll the tabs up top to Character Gen Parts, select the "Hair" under Base Head Parts and change to what you wish. If it's the latter, and depending on what you want to do, you may need to edit one or more of the following from the "base" hair model you want to modify: hair + hairline NIFs/TRIs and associated texture base diffuse, probably normal map as well. EDIT: Also, unless these companion mods you want to change are not being updated anymore, or you plan on never installing an update over them, I would strongly advise that you DO NOT make the changes directly to the original mod. Instead, use/create a patch mod so that your custom appearance won't be affected by updates to the original mod.
