Rabbit1251
Than Steam should be patching your game automatically unless you turned off Automatic Updates. Maybe your Skyboost needs updating to the latest version. Rabbit

Rabbit1251
Go to Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim. Find your TESV.exe. Right click on it and choose 'Properties'. Click the tab marked 'Details' and see what Product Version you are running. Rabbit
kevkiev
i put skyboost in my skyrim folders and stuff i did it right but when i try to start skyrim it says "your game version is NOT supported, supported patches: 1.4.21.0us". i was wondering if i need to get skyrim updated or do i need a better skyboost or something like that. i believe i need skyrim updated but i dont want to download anything that has viruses so can any of you guys help me? Skyboost hasn't been updated in ages. Can't remember exactly the latest game version it worked with, but 1.4.21 sounds about right. EDIT: in other words, I think that message is not telling you your game is not updated, but that skyboost only works with an older version (1.4) of Skyrim. hangarspace
TESV is the same as TESV.exe, just that your folder view is hiding file extensions. Chris
