firsTraveler
Started playing today and when I tried to SAVE my game the game went CTD. Reloaded and tried saving using the console save TEST = CTD. The game actually creates a little 256k save file, but it wont load. I have Dawngaurd installed and I've run Steams File Verify. I am running mods but nothing new or updated for a couple of days. Any help please?

Should add this happens when I try to fast travel, ender a building, leave a building, or enter or leave a town (tested by trying different saves). missjennabee
are you running with a whole bunch of mods and\or textures? (not just NEW mods, but in general. New mods are actually rarely the cause of a crash, unless something is terribly horribly wrong with them.) If so, then its possible that you've reached your memory limit (games memory limit, not your PC's memory limit) - it can cause crashes all over the place, particularly when you try to load a new area (interior or exterior), or go to save. Mostly because these actions temporarily take up a lot more memory than you were using just before. Unfortunately, it's only about one of a million things that could cause such problems. Would need a little more info to be able to help
taitai907
Whenever you first start a session, load a save, and reload. That should solve the issue until you start a new session.
