Frustrating "Mouse Right Button not working" problem.

I just clean-install Skyrim because I was bogged down by this problem for days.

Upon a clean-installation the right mouse button or M2 functions correctly. (By default it's either block).

I installed a few mods and it doesn't work anymore. The funny thing is even if I revert to the original state of having no mod, the problem persists.

Also I ran into the same problem when using SKSE. Whenever I launched the game with SKSE, I ran into the exact same problem.

The right-click in the game doesn't work. I gotta fix this but don't know where to look.

Thanks.

2. I tried remapping the keyboard layout in the game but to no avail.

Mods can leave scripts or otherwise cause problems if they are not uninstalled incorrectly. Some mods have very specific instructions on how to do this. You might look at the readmes/description of the mods you were using to see if the problem you are experiencing is a known issue with that mod. The best way to determine if no mods are involved is to do a complete clean reinstall, including deleting all local content though steam and manually removing anything the steam uninstall missed, especially savegames.

If you are still experiencing the problem on a squeakiy clean new game, unmodded, I would look at your mouse/driver. If you have a logitech mouse with "setpoint", try disabling that. Any software that affects the mapping functions might be a problem. Also try another mouse, maybe?
