commieanarko1986
I hope Bethesda watches these forums and get's ideals from this thread  They will probably get the bad ones >.< , and by the way, a werebear? Seriously? What's next, werechickens? It would be cool if you could be a shapeshifter though O.O hey I seen that werebear request on the boards here a few days ago and wondered where'd that come from  LOL, now I got the idea of a shapeshifter and I can't get it out of my head -.- Also if you watch the things that weren't added to the game (I think I saw it in a video or something) you will find quite a lot of them to actually be in the DLC Dawnguard, I just hope they don't add a bunch of things I don't like.. And finally that they publish it when it is really done with minimal buggs like they did for Dawnguard ( for me it runs perfectly I don't know about other ppl) And I don't really know about marrying Serana, maybe if they made it more of a unique marriage, instead of sitting around the house cooking and watching bugs crawling on the wall they could make a lot of dialogue and a couple of unique quests but also some radiant, but I doubt Bethesda will do anything about the matter, but who knows, stranger things have happened :) Werebears are part of TES lore, mentioned frequently throughout the series. They are also supposed to be the most common were-creatures in Skyrim. IMO, they should have been in at launch, but since they aren't they should be in DLC, especially since they were in the Gamejam video. Nothing says they have to be the focus of the next DLC, but why not include them in a side quest that gives you the option to get infected? Ragosch
Every game is made now with DLC in mind so they leave out entire sections of the game and release them later as DLC to make extra money. The way they have production of games setup now it really does look like they make the DLC later but they should have just made all of it part of the game to begin with but this would make release dates and development cycles longer which of course publishers don't like. This is why kickstarter is becoming so popular because whoever funds it doesn't have to care about publisher greed they only have to care about what they are funding and their motivation for funding is to play the game not make money on it. Any game made in 2004 or older has no DLC that I can remember atm only expansions or addons so you got the whole game but these days it is all about the money and the shareholders:-( There is a video somewhere with the policy of Bethesda in regards to completion of game development. They basically said, they could end content creation earlier and put more effort into testing. But they found, that adding content up to right before the release, is making for a better player experience than trying to fix all bugs, which is anyway not really successful, because a few dozen of dev-guys do not do the same things, millions of players try out. So they rather focus on more content, and fix things in updates, using the millions of players to find the bugs. I would not call this greed, but a reasonable decision based on the fact, that it is really hard to find bugs in a developer version. The production version out to the public makes finding bugs more efficient. So this is actually a trade-off, which makes us to beta testers for a while, but on the other side, we get more content as well.
Ragosch
Ah, well to the topic: I would love to see Cyrrodil on the creation engine. I think i saw a video, which claimed that the landmass of it is already in the files. So this would be awesome. I don't care much about a story line for that. Just to be able to roam around in Cyrrodil, go hunting and so would already be very nice, because I just loved the landscape of it.

androidmaster
More races? the return of the snow elves or peace with the The Falmer or maybe a lost Dwemer outpost? can they come up with more creatures and more spells? or how about wiping out the Thalmor? What would you like to see? I'd like the option to push the thalmor out of skyrim. I HATE them. Stupid, egotistical, religion-bashing idiots...... I even went back to their little embassy and wiped them out after the quest there XD. Lolz.

So this is actually a trade-off, which makes us to beta testers for a while, but on the other side, we get more content as well. On the other hand, this means they are basically asking us to pay money for a broken product. And, really, the video game industry is like the only industry in the world that is allowed to get away with that. I think that if consumers are to be expected to pay for these things, they should be able to demand a product that actually works as advertised. And if the game developers use their customers as beta testers, those customers should be entitled to compensation. (And no, "more content" doesn't count, not when that content is what the customers payed for in the first place.)
korrumpiert
Do you guys remember the quest you got when entering markarth the first time and later on meating the "forsworn boss" an that mine-like prison?I really would like the see the forsworn rising and taking back the reach... Two scenario's would be great here...First: Join the forsworn and helping them to take back the reach...Second: Being against the forsworn that are trying to take back the reach...Also a bit more history about them would be really nice in my opinion and I also would like to know whats the deal with a lot of hagravens helping the forsworn (creating forsworn briarhearts... for example). So what do think about this?
helloguy1232
A massive Thalmor fort that repopulates every in game day so you can go there every day to massacre all the inhabitants and release your stress and anger from the workday. I hate the Thalmor, reminds me of the Human Resources Department, lazy and pretentious..... Dragon mounting wouldn't work because the game is made of different cells, so it would require major restructuring to allow you to fly over then and travel normally. Bethesda makes the Thalmor almost cheesily snobby and pretentious in order to build them as villains for a future game, because once they market it: Ooh I get to kill Thalmor, those snobby, egotistical guys from Skyrim, YAY, here's mah 60 bucks, now let meh kill teh Thalmor. But if they introduce a new enemy: These guys sound dumb, where did they even come from anyways, I'm renting. fraquar
Make the Dragonborn a Thalmor operative, turn the whole damn goodie-two-shoes Dragonborn as savior completely on it's head. Seriously, the opportunities to create pure-D havoc in Skyrim are endless. Think about it, by the time you are finished in Skyrim they will be begging for Ulfric to be the savior and begging for Alduin to return with haste Edited August 15, 2012 by fraquar
