Need help with load order

The game starts up just fine, but when I either try loading or starting a new game, it crashes. Oddly enough, it worked fine except that the game said that the FWE Companions were overriden so I changed load order a bit and now everything went to hell. Anything helps. :happy:

You will never have a stable game trying to run FOOK and FWE together. Choose one or the other.

 

This looks like a typical LOOT load order. It is completely wrong.

 

When you have decided which overhaul mod you want to use, download and install B.O.S.S. https://github.com/boss-developers

 

Run it once, make the corrections for unrecognized mods and post the new load order here.

I just copied this from B.O.S.S' Log file. It says that I should update my Fook, but I believe 100% I downloaded the latest version on Nexus. The game louds up longer than before, but still ends up crashing.

Read the log. You have unnecessary plugins.

 

And good luck with FOOK. I have never been able to get a stable game with it. That is why I use FWE instead of FOOK.

 

I also don't use any mod that requires compatibility patches.

This is the load order copied from FOMM. Game does not crash, but freezes upon loading a savefile/starting a new game. Something's still wrong and I don't know what is.

All of the large overhaul mods have a sample load order on the mod page. You should make yourself aware of them.

 

Any mod that has multiple plugins need to be in the same order as the base game and all together.

 

With Fellout, you only need Fellout-Full. Not the individual DLCs.

 

FWE-Alternate Travel is in the correct place, all of the other plugins are not. Use only one FWE-Restore Tracers, not both.

Okay, I have followed the load order from the FWE author himself on the nexus, and followed your help and I have no idea what I did wrong, everything seems to be correctly placed. Now game just instantly crashes on startup. Load order :

Remove the unused plugins. You are showing you have 6 not active.

 

Go to: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18173 and read the instructions very carefully.

 

Then go here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16787 and read the instructions. If you don't understand them, don't use the patches.

 

You don't state, but do you have FOSE installed?

 

If the game is installed in the default location (Program Files) you will nothing but trouble trying to run mods.
