Bought Dark Souls Collector's Edition

A new article seems to have confirmed that the PC release of Dark Souls will be capped at 720p and 30 fps, despite previous information. My guess would be they took out the option of uncapping the game after noticing code issues, and the 1080p thing was probably just a mix-up to begin with. This is fine imo, but the part I don't like is that they're apparently using GFWL servers for everything. I can bear GFWL as drm, but their servers are terrible, and more importantly, this means that Dark Souls on the pc may get taken offline eventually.

I'm hoping for the best and planning for the worst. If the Dark Souls pc release uses GFWL servers in addition to the confirmed DRM, I'll buy it to support FROM's PC attempt and then just play the PS3 version.

Anyway, that's not really the point. The point is, I just bought the PS3 Collector's Edition of Dark Souls for $90, as I decided to work even more hours to make up for it. Yay! I get the official soundtrack! That's like 30% of the reason I bought the CE. Another 20% is the cover art, while the remaining 50% is just because I want to have the best version.

ouch. $90! it was only $60 when the game was released. meaning everyone got one. im not even sure there was a regular version to buy. i think there was only a CE.

I really really really want this game. And I don't think it would run good on my PC so I need to get a PS3 for it. D:

MUST BUY
