MINOR DAWNGUARD LOCATION SPOILERS,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29wiaem0NvM&feature=plcp

Put HD so you can see it clearly. :)

You can see at 0:01 that there are some flashing spots on the stone, afterwards, you can see the shadow glitch behind the top-right door and below the table.

The spots at standing stone affects many objects such as swords, some parts flash, some dont. The shadow is a flicker which i don't know how to solve. I had the spots for ages, i believe it was after some patch.

I have SSAO availabled as Performance.

Graphics card, 560m SLI, latest.

What is the spots and how do i solve it? Could SSAO be the cause for the shadow jumping?

Not sure, but why not disable SSAO to find out?

All I notice is a little bit of sparkling, can be caused by your AA, you might try playing with that setting. If you are talking about the shadows being kid of blocky, you could try lowering your shadow resolution, which would blur them out a bit.

Yeah, I get that glitter too. My understanding is that it is related to the transparency filtering. It doesn't really bother me, but you might try playing around with transparency filtering...I'm guessing you are using Nvidia inspector? There are a lot more options for settings in that program than in the standard NVidia interface. I have also read that some specific drivers have problems with specific settings, like they can't handle 8x but are fine at 16, or are unable to use supersampling etc. You probably just need to play around till you find what you like.

If you haven't already (Sounds like you have, but just in case) you might check out NVidia's tweak guide for skyrim, too.

Tried messing around with the transparency filter, didn't help but the guide did in improving graphics with minimal performance lost, thanks. I will try disabling SLI and see if it reduces. The problem goes away if i get close to the object, it used to be a minor problem as it didn't affect doors, stairs etc. Now somehow, it does and it's worse than before.

FINALLY!

i re installed Skyrim, it didn't help, i disabled SLI, still didn't help. SSAO from nvidia inspector only made it worse. This is what i did.

Had default SkyrimPrefs and Skyrim.ini, no modification expect for turning off V-Sync.

Had AA on to 8 at Skyrim options.

I believe i had AF at x16 by nvidia inspector.

The problem almost disappeared, some very few fragments were left but nothing was noticeably, only during loading screens tho.
