Unusal crashing problem with one character but not the other?

I have two characters That I play with. My main character can't go anywhere near( can't even get close ) the MZINCHALEFT dwemer ruins w/o the game crashing. However my second character can go there with no problems at all. I initially thought this was a mod problem, but both characters use the same mods and only one can't get near the place w/o it crashing? Heres my mod list for what its worth.

Sounds like it could be a random spawn from the leveled lists. Different characters, especially if they are different levels, could have different creatures spawning from the same spawn point. For the one where it's crashing, try using the "No boring wait/sleep" mod to wait 31 days to allow cells to reset and see if that fixes it. Also, even if the mods are now identical for both, if the characters don't have an identical mod usage history, one could have elements in the save game that the other one doesn't and these could cause differences. The main character was probably created earlier, and may have been exposed to earlier versions of some mods, which means it more likely has bad content in the savegames. I think the only two variables here are the savegame contents, and possible variation due to spawns from the leveled lists. It must be one of those two. Don't be so quick to reinstall the game. So may people do that and it doesn't fix a thing. I have been running with Skyrim for months and have even hit the mod limit. I have so many mods. My game has broken many, many times where I can't get through Helgen. But I've never reinstalled, and I can always fix it with either a new game or removing mods that break things. I still have issues. The Imperial Mages in Helgen stopped throwing firebolts at the dragon months ago. They just hold up their fists like they want to punch it, but it doesn't get close enough. Have you turned on the papyrus log? It might provide some information, although I haven't found it useful for instant CTD's yet. It might log messages from scripts left by old mods that have been uninstalled or updated since you first used them. Edited by blitzen

For whats it worth I can't even coc there. I use the console to coc there but when i press enter nothing happens? I coc'd random places fine just to check.

 

That suggests the Mz... location itself is somehow missing entirely from that save game. I assume you can coc in your working save or from the game menu?

 

Not sure how that would even happen.

The outside is not missing but once I get a clear view it crashes:( I would think if it was missing my other character couldn't go there?

 

How exactly do I turn on the papyrus log?

Look at the topic link below. It explains some basic things about Papyrus, including how to turn logging on. I was hoping the community would take some interest in it, but it doesnt' seem to have caught on. Don't post in there though. No point in resurrecting it.
