LordSarcasm Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Most games with combat have some kind of combo system, with certain rewards for a high enough combo. Now what I'm imagining is something like a cross between the system in the Arlham games and certain Star Wars games. Scoring combos would increase the weapon (or unarmed) base damage and certain perks could be chosen to affect critical damage and reduce stamina cost. It could also slow time and unlock special fight animation. Maybe you could also have a perk that decreases bow draw time during a combo or reduce spell cost and increase destruction damage. Taking damage would naturally end the combo unless you're blocking but a perk could increase block absorbtion during a combo. It would make combat much more dynamic to be sure.
