Etherella
I'm playing Fallout New Vegas : Ultimate Edition and after some time in game (~15 min) the graphics starts to look much worse than it did when I just loaded the savegame. It looks like the grass textures are really bad (not eve transparent) and some effects are missing, such as anisotropic filtering etc etc. However, if I restart the game everything is back to normal. I use the high settings and my computer specs are : Intel core 2 duo E6750, Ati Radeon 3870x2 1024 Mb, 2.0 Gb Ram. I would appreciate any help on how to get rid of this problem. ethik
It does sound like your graphics card is overheating. Temperatures above 90 degrees can cause visual artifacts and other issues. Use the program CYNTHETIC recommended. If its overheating: change your graphics card's fan control setting from automatic to manual and set the speed to 100%. Try cleaning all of your fans with air duster.
