cryptic_rain
Ug, is there not a fix out for this yet? I've tried the Unoffical Oblivion Patch, EggDropSoap's Vampire Face Fix, and neither work. I get bitten, I turn, and when I save and exit the game, my very cute elf is now a man to the 25th power upon re-load. I've trolled through mods on several sites, but hell, maybe I'm just missing something. If anyone has any information on a fix for this, please let me know! exanimis
The easiest fix is to load an earlier save from before she became a vampire. Then reload your newest save and the face will be fixed. There was a mod to fix this but I think it's outdated now. If you don't have an older save...well, you will the next time you play a new game. cryptic_rain
Bleh, anyone know of any vampire race mods, then?
tcwleblanc
opening the console and typing showracemenu doesnt let you change it back to a female? if you have never done that before dont finish your changes (or you get a ctd) hit escape when youre done configuring the face then save in a new file. when its done saving load the save you just made and it should be changed for you....hopefully. cryptic_rain
Yea, I've tried changing things back with the console command, however, when I do, all of my secondary skills are reset, as if making a new character. Not a horribly big deal, but that can get to be a pain in the ass, having to work those up over and again. It seems like the face only goes manly if I actually exit Oblivion. I can save and reload over and over with no problems. But as soon as I exit and restart the game, manish. Thanks for the replies, all. I think for now I'll just skip being a vamp. elite5472
doesn't need to be a pre-vampire save, any pervious savegame that requires the game to load a cell will suffice... afterwards you just need to reload your recent save... at least that works for me.
