Tmo1
I'm a console gamer, just built a PC for work, and I'm excited to mod Skyrim to make it look amazing. My questions and understanding of PCs in general is very basic. I just have a few questions. - What kind of mods are in ENBs?I'm confused about what an ENB is, and what the difference is between an ENB and other mods I download from Nexus. I watched a video about installing "Ultimate Immersion SE ENB". Does that already have 4K textures in that ENB? Can I install other mods like 4K textures, water and other graphic mods and still download the ENB? -Do I need Skyrim SE Script Extender SKSE64?I watched a video about it, and it said that SKSE64 is necessary for lots of good mods. But the video about the "Ultimate Immersion SE ENB did not say anything about SKSE64, so I'm not sure if I need it or not. -What is the difference between mods on Nexus and mods you download from the Skyrim launch screen, where you click New Game, Continue, Mods?I looked through the mods from Bethesda when you launch the game, but I could not find any 2K or 4K texture mods that I've seen videos of on youtube, and I guess are on Nexus. Thanks for any help you can offer. Like I said, I am not very good with PC knowledge at all, but I want to learn.

It does NOT contain any kind of textures. So you have still to download texture mods if you want the textures to have a high resolution. You should install SKSE no matter if the ENB requires this since you will need SKSE for a lot of mods that most people here would call essential. The mods on Nexus are mods that people uploaded on Nexus that you can use for free. The mods you can find from the launch screen are the mods from the official Skyrim Creation Club that you have to pay for. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Creation_Club
