GamerRick
From Cephaler's first post: "ITM records are only an issue if another mod below it, uses the same record." WRONG! They matter when a mod ABOVE it changes that record. The last mod that has the record in it wins. The ITM in the lower mod will replace the changes in the above mod with a copy of the original record, wiping out the changes of the above mod. Sometimes this is intentional. Usually it's not. I provide my "lectures" (free of charge) when I see wrongness and/or ignorance of how mods work. I do NOT profess to know everything. I would clean the MMM modules, but I have a short load list. As Cephaler pointed out, bugs in NIF files can cause CTDs that are very hard to figure out. I am currently trying to find those in FOOK2's files to figure out why I still get CTDs inspite of the massive cleanings and changes I have made to its ESMs. Even the maniacal level of control I have over the mods I use doesn't result in a problemless game.
