scottym23
I'm trying to download fallout wanderer's edition and am running into some problems. Whenever I try to activate the download on my fomm, it gives me this error message: "Archive invalidation does not appear to be active. This mod requires it to be activated in order to work correctly. Please make sure to use the Toggle Invalidation feature available on the main form after installing this mod." The problem is (probably in most part due to my stupidity when it comes to things like this) I don't know even where the toggle invalidation feature is located let alone how to use it. If someone could help me out i'd really appreciate it!
M48A5
Across the top of FOMM, you will see the word "Tools". Left click on it and look at the drop down menu. At the botton you will see "Archive Invalidation". If there is a check mark next to the words "Archive Invalidation", than it is active. To disable "Archive Invalidation", left click on the check mark. A box will open and left click on "Yes" to disable "Archive Invalidation" or "No" if you do not want to disable it. To toggle "Archive Invalidation", it there is a check mark to the left, left click in the space to the left and in the box answer "Yes". This will disable "Archive Invalidation" Repeat this process to enable "Archive Invalidation". This should be done everytime you add a new mod to the game. Thanks for your help, but the problem still is occurring. Archive Invalidation is active with a check next to it and it's still giving me the same error message. I even tried to remove the archive invalidation and re-activate it, but that doesn't work either. Edited August 14, 2012 by scottym23

NinjaSushi2
I'm having the same problem. I've tried both steps and it still doesn't work. I just decided to install and ignore it though. I hope it works. lol
FIR3STORM208
I have the same problem, and just ignored it. When the text message appears just click "no" its just asking if you want to stop the install. After I clicked "no" FWE seemed to install just fine.
