korrumpiert
I decided to create a thread like this because I'm quiet interested in how other people play skyrim and with which class and stuff... Personal, I like to play more than just one charakter but I'll just list my warrior with its perks, standing stone and equiptment. I'll add my vampiric wizard later! (that one is broken - seriously!) So lets get started! (b4 complaining why this charakter is level 81 and skills maxed; I'm using the Levelers Tower just to bringt them to Lv. 81 so that I can play each charakter at its full potential! I'm also playing with a mod called "Intense Difficulty - Master x8") - So yes, after finishing Skyrim completely legit I became a "power player". http://www.imagebanana.com/view/dbs0vkk5/WARRIOR.jpg (One-Handed) Warrior Race: Breton Level: 81 Standing Stone: The Atronach. Normal stats w/o EQ and perks: 150 Mana; 900 Health; 100 Stamina - 25% resist magic. Final stats with EQ and perks: 150 Mana; 1044 Health; 388 Stamina - 78% resist magic; 30% resist fire, frost, and shock; 80% spell absorb; 50% resist poisen. Skill (all 100) + Perks Alchemy: Alchemist 5/5; Physician; Benefactor; Experimenter 1/3; Snake Blood. Smithing: Steel Smithing; Arcane Blacksmith; Elven Smithing; Advanced Armors; Glass Smithing; Dragon Smithing. Enchanting: Enchanter 5/5; Insightful Enchanter; Corpus Enchanter; Extra Effect. One-Handed: Armsman 5/5; Fighting Stance; Bladesman 3/3 (I dont like maces or axes and yeah I do know maces with its Bone Breaker perk are better & bad ass...!); Savage Strike; Critical Charge. Block: All perk's learned. Heavy Armor: Juggernaut 1/5; Fists of Steel; Well Fitted; Cushioned; Tower of Strength; Conditioning. Alteration: Novice Alteration; Apprentice Alteration; Magic Resistance 3/3; Adept Alteration; Expert Alteration; Atronach. Restoration: Novice Restoration; Recovery 1/2; Avoid Death. Pickpocket: Light Fingers 1/5; Night Thief; Extra pockets; Equiptment: Headpiece: Dragon Priest Mask Otar, (30% resist to all elements) Hands: Dragonbone Hands, Fortify One-Handed 47%; Fortify Block 47%. Boots: Dragonbone Boots, Fortify One-Handed 47%; Increase Stamina 72 Points. Chest: Dragonbone Chest, Increase Stamina 72 Points; Increase Health 72 Points. Shield: Dragonbone Shield, Increase Health 72 Points; Resist Magic 23%. Necklace: Increase Stamina 72 Points; Fortify One-Handed 47%. Ring: Increase Stamina 72 Points; Fortify One-Handed 47%. Usefull dragon shouts as warrior (big marked shouts are very important!): Become Ethereal Dragonrend Elemental Fury Ice Form Marked for Death Unrelenting Force Whirlwind Sprint Usefull Potions to manufacture with recipe (using alchemy gear, 4 parts with 29% Fortify Alchemy): Wheat + Blue Mountain Flower = Restore Health 203 points + Fortify Health 130 points for 60 seconds. Mudcrab Chitin + Purple Mountain Flower = Restore Stamina 203 points. I listed these two potions because you find its ingredients very often while walking through skyrim. So guys, thats it for now! :)Feel free to talk, discuss, add your own builds and rate them maybe! Edited August 15, 2012 by korrumpiert
xlcr
korrumpiert, hi, not to sound critical or anything lol; but, it seems to me that your warrior character has become overpowered and unbalanced for any kind of realistic or challenging skyrim gameplay.I intentionally keep my player/followers in light gear/weaponry with minimal enchantments/temperingto match what opponents skyrim is designed to present so there's usually a fair fight. For "normal" Skyrim, I agree my warrior is OP but thats why I also said that im playing on "Intense Difficulty - Master x8") http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4406 That's the mod, just if you are interested :) If I dont play with strategy on "Intense Difficulty - Master x8" I'll get my ass kicked, thats for sure. Some damage examples: Giants power attack unblocked does around 40% to 50% (I'm wondering if there's a min/max damage in Skyrim... Forsworn Briarheart unblocked power attack (hell... thats what I call pain!) around 70% to 85% D: Arch Fire Mages Fireballs around 15% to 20%, dont seem much but their cast them hell fast... Now the biggest pain: Legendary Dragons Life Absorb Shout = outrageous damage over time, if you are out of healing potions - say "good bye".An unblocked bite 60%; Fire/Frost Breath (blocked)... 40% thats a f*** ton when looking at my resistances... Just say'in  Thanks for response! Edited August 15, 2012 by korrumpiert

xlcr
korrumpiert, ahh ok, i suspected you were probably running something that changed the game enemy leveling system.that looks like a kickarse mod, Intense Difficulty by Pluto - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4406Pluto's a great modder, i use his PISE - Improved Skyrim Experience by Pluto - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1269.Deadly Dragons by 3JIou - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3829 is a popular mod also. back on topic, for high end powerplay i've used a few mods that enable multiple rings+amulets, enchanting unlocker, and multiple (3-4) enchantments on any gear. i like the flexibility enchanting/tempering small items like rings/etc gives you because i can simply unequip items to balance stats.also use slightly higher damage arrows, modded lightened one-handed weapons/shields to get faster attack/block speed, and everlasting weapon enchant mod because i tired of the soul capturing/recharging thing. each follower is equipped with modded fortify speed enchanted gear so they'll keep up, they also mostly have the same gear my player does, i use removeitem/equipitem batch files to configure them. you haven't mentioned what type of conventional weaponry you prefer or are you strictly a magic user? I really like the "power playing" but personely I wont install mods that are kind of "broken" like wearing 5 rings on each hand 2-3 amuletts... or being able to unlock every enchantment for every armor-part... I just keep Skyrim "Skyrim" but a lot more difficult :)To be honest I did not checked Plutos other Mod's, maybe I should :) Ahhh to my weapon useage: With my warrior, I only use o-h-weapons and a shield, no magic (except the passiv's and armor enchanting). With my wizard, guess what  I only use magic  By the way... I hear many people complaining about wizards being "underpowered"...My answere: They aren't... just reminding of fortify destruction potions... when used by my vampire-wizard my spells become 238% stronger... for example Lightning Storm doing 381 damage per second than... a simple fireball doing 218 damage... when dual casted around 480 damage + burn damage + dual cast stagger effect. xlcr
korrumpiert, just fyi, i stopped using PISE/ASIS, these are works in progress so be careful, also,i'm not sure how well these work with the latest patches if you've allowed steam to access/update your install.so in other words, if you're happy with 'Intense Difficulty by Pluto' then stay with that lol. nathanj
ASIS (someone linked to PISE in an earlier post, that is outdated and plutoman recommend using ASIS)Mighty Dragons (or Deadly Dragons)DO NOT UPGRADE ANY WEAPONS ARMOR.......this is very important as it blows any semblance of challenge in the game out of the water.ACE (or Skyrim Redone)Expert or Master difficulty That is the bare bones for making Skyrim interesting to play. Or DO UPGRADE your weapons and stuff and simply download that Intense Difficulty mod I mention before  By the way... this thread is kind of going to go in the wrong direction. So please insteed of discussing about the difficulty or things being broken, please post your characters, its abilities, gear and stuff, why do you use it and why do you think it's usefull  :) Edited August 17, 2012 by korrumpiert
