how can i activate the inactive mk ll gauss rifle

this is my third time to play fallout but the first time with the operation anchorage dlc

 

when i went to beily crossroads there an interance to waston arms reasearch in there agoul named waelstrom

 

and i cant talk to him just saying i have to go and there is the MK ll gauss rifle but saying its inactive i pickpocket this goul and got his terminal password and read his logs he is trying to get this weapon to work

 

any one know the solution coz i hate when something stuck with me and i will thank him forever

Might I suggest putting the font colur in something that people can read?

This must a location added by a mod as there is no mention of a Gauss Rifle Mk II or a ghoul named waelstrom or waston arms research in the vanilla game.

This was added by the mod Shadows and Dust - Tales from Southwest DC. You need the Proprietary Control Authorization, the broken Gauss Rifle, and the terminal in the Weston Arms research lab to link the weapon to you. Without a proprietary link, the weapon does not work. The Proprietary Control Authorization is in the Weston Arms office.

i added it from a month and forget about it completly

i got it now
