darkmanx23 Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 which one is better ? ive modded both games pretty heavily i noticed that when i mod special edition i rarely have crashing problems and my game looks fookin beautiful BUT i realized oldrim has alot of mods that havent been ported to SE like marriagable sarana,familiar faces and so on so what do you guys prefer to mod and play ? part of me wants to uninstal SE reinstall oldrim and start modding that but can i get my game to look as good as SE modded while not crashing every 20 minutes ? steamteck Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 I'm sticking with Oldrim. Mine is quite stable and I don't feel like trying to reinvent the wheel. SSE mod resources are improving but still not up to LE for my purposes. Trying to recreate the functions of my years in the making mod list seems like more than I want to deal with for too little gain and some downgrades in functionality for my particular ideal Skyrim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
xrayy Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 i'm also playing oldrim without instabilities even without usleep and 254 active esp, using it with mo v1.3. the only instabilities i encountered are ini, enb and mod setttings and priority related but easy to handle with mo.i can not compare with se - i*m still refusing to switch. but you listed some disadvantages including the skse and the always new version and update related problems and fixes. for a beginner se may be the more advisable option.if i compare the nexus images taken in se and le i'm still not convinced that se is the better option.
