AugustaCalidia
Go to the Vortex Knowledge Base and read the article, "Moving Your Vortex Mod Setup to a New Computer." The article probably has some useful suggestions applicable to your situation.
ShelLuser
It's a little hard to say because a lot depends on your configuration. So, some general advice:Check the location of important directories: Fire up Vortex, make sure Skyrim is active, then click 'settings' and check the 'mods' tab. Pay attention to the 'staging' folder, that is an important location.Another option: go to your mods list (wrench icon), find the 'open' option in your toolbar and then select "open game mods folder" and/or "open mod staging folder".Generally speaking: the staging folder will be where your physical mods are located whereas the game mods folder will contain links to files within your staging folder. So yeah, to back up Skyrim and its mods you'll need the program folder (steamapps\common\skryim) as well as your staging folder (which could be in %appdata%). Maybe this can also be useful for you... I've been here myself a few times where I needed a backup of my data and I've grown very fond of AOMEI backupper. Link points you to the free standard version. The advantage lies in the fact that it creates a backup image (one file containing all your data) and that seriously helps to reduce required storage space. Best part is that it can make an image of your entire disk or you can simply tell it to grab some specific folders. Figured I'd share... Good luck with the reinstall!
