BonKerz22
Here's an image of my mod list from NMM, http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/849/modlist.png/ It's a little hard to read... I have uninstalled and reinstalled quite a few mods, which may not have helped. I never seemed to experience lock ups until I downloaded and installed Dawnguard. They're incredibly random, and I can't really pinpoint what could be causing them. They have happened all over Skyrim, usually when I'm riding on a horse, but have now started happening in cities. Sometimes it'll lock up right when I walk outside of an interior. I should also mention that lock ups only happen with Skyrim and no other game installed on my computer. Is there a diagnostic program that could pinpoint what is going on when a lock up happens? Are any armor/weapon mods known to maybe caused lock ups?Lock ups are due to graphical errors, correct?Could certain Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini tweaks/inconsistencies cause lock ups?If you delete both .ini's and let the game replace them, are they default? Or are they influenced by your save file?
Samurai_Smartie
By Lock Ups he means freezes.I have experienced the same, coincidally with the installation of dawnguard. In my case skyrim freezes exactly at or shortly over 2.6 GB RAM usage. You get those freezes while riding because the game has to load lots of data for the cells youre passing through. It definitely hasnt been there before Dawnguard and its also not a mod freeze as its not limited to a specific location.
BonKerz22
So are you thinking we just need to wait and hope for an update from Bethesda to fix the freezes from Dawnguard? Also, my game only uses at most 1.5gb of RAM Edited August 16, 2012 by BonKerz22
