RobinHood2005
I have a problem which has been annoying me for a while now. Namely, my PG2 keeps crashing on Windows 7 and I don't know why. I'll give you guys a quick rundown on what I have done thus far: -Downloaded and installed a new version of the game (which claims to be compatible with Windows 7)-Set all of the .exes to run in compatibility mode with both Windows 95 and Windows XP SP3 and with admin privileges (neither worked)-Installed DX9 runtime components None of this works. Can someone help? Download link: https://panzergeneraldownload.com/panzer-general-2.html
HeyYou
Have you tried running it in compatibility mode for various operating systems?
RobinHood2005
Have you tried running it in compatibility mode for various operating systems?Apart from those mentioned above? No. I figured it would have been a waste of time, but I suppose that it would be worth a try once all other options have been exhausted. Which ones do you recommend trying first? HeyYou
Don't think so. Do you have the new exe file they wanted you to download as well? Might try posting on the forums they have there, and see if anyone has a clue.
RobinHood2005
UPDATE: I fixed the issue. Turns out it was because there was a dot in the name of the folder. Miraculously, removing it caused right clicking to work and not crash.
