skullsridge
Greetings everyone! I have a question in regards to MO2 and NMM. I'm thinking of using MO2 to manage my mods from here on out, but I don't want to go through all the trouble of uninstalling NMM, making my games vanilla, reinstalling all my mods on MO2, praying to whatever Lovecraftian horror who'll listen that I got the load order perfect so that my saves are intact, etc, after I've already essentially done that with NMM after a factory reset almost a full year ago. Instead, since I've essentially got my mod list perfect for now, and will only use MO2 to install a (comparatively) few mods, I was hoping I could get the two organizers to work together. My question is, how do I accomplish this? I'm aware that MO1 works just fine with NMM, but MO2 does not fare as well. When I tried to install ADAM Reborn for FNV on MO2, it simply would not register in my game, despite it being fully activated in the mod organizer. I know that MO2 does not touch the data folder, where as NMM lives and breathes there, but I was wondering if there is a way for the game to use both its data folder and MO2's mods folder at the same time to look for mods, however unlikely that must seem.Again, how do I get MO2 and NMM to put aside their differences for the greater good? How do I use them together without having to migrate to MO2 outright?Any help on this would be appreciated.Kindest regards,Jonah
rmm200
Fortunately for us - this is The Vortex Support forum.Try asking on a MO2 or NMM forum.(If Vortex were at all part of this discussion - I would say never ever use multiple managers to manage the same game. It won't work')

rmm200
If you can't find those forums - go with my Vortex advice. Don't mix mod managers. If you have a bunch of mods in NMM you don't want to move - keep using NMM. It is still supported.Use MO on some other game that has no NMM mods. AugustaCalidia
rmm200 is right - if you cannot find an answer to your question, stick with NMM. Mixing mod managers can quickly move from being a headache to being a nightmare.

Kindest regards,Jonahall you're going to do, if you do this, is bork your games right up.you need to understand what a mod manager does and why trying to use more than one mod manager for the same game is not only a bad idea, but will cause you no end of issues.bottom line - don't do this. just don't.
