fr33rang3r
I have attempted several downloads from the Fallout 4 section and each time I am getting a warning that only an html file has been downloaded and attempted installs, of course, fail. It shows a .7zip file in my downloads folder, but attempting to open these files with 7zip leads to an error message stating it cannot be opened. Any help appreciated. Pickysaurus
Hi there, Are you downloading manually or via a mod manager? This seems to happen intermittently for users but we've never been able to pin down a cause. Can you try a different browser or turn off any addon you might have enabled? Please note, right clicking and choosing "Save Link as..." won't work on mod pages as the download link is created after you click the button. fr33rang3r
Sorry for the late reply. I was using MO2 and selecting Mod Manager Download. I was able to use the manual download button to continue getting mods. As of right now (5/2/19) the Mod Manager Download button is working for me again. I am using Firefox 66.0.3 (64-bit). The only extension I have running is located here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dark-background-light-text/ Let me know if I can help further. -----------I was mistaken there are several extensions/addons running: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-pioneer/ https://github.com/andrewbrey/netflix-tweaked https://github.com/samueljun/tomato-clock http://www.openh264.org/ https://www.widevine.com/ I'm fairly certain the last two are stock Firefox addons. I am also using the included Dark theme for Firefox. Edited May 2, 2019 by fr33rang3r
Pickysaurus
It is strang, there's nothing there that would indicate a problem (as far as I know). If it does happen again please try a different browser to confirm if it's exclusively a Firefox issue.
