Can't get cloaks to work

I installed the Cloaks of Skyrim mod, and I thought the description said they were craftable at tanning racks with linen wrap, but it doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have only one of the 3 esp files selected? More than one and they wont show up (I dont think).

I have the Cloaks.esp selected only, but its still not working, I've got 10 linen wrap in my inventory is there something else I'm missing?

Do you have another crafting mod that could be conflicting with Cloaks of Skyrim?

drakelord1, hi, check your DLCList.txt to make sure 'cloaks.esp' is listed and being loaded.

(search for DLCList.txt in your systemdrive).

if you used NMM to install, sometimes it glitches, check it.

 

verify that these folders are in your skyrim install just to make sure the mod files/folders were installed:

\skyrim\data\Meshes\Clothes\cloaksofskyrim

\skyrim\data\Textures\Clothes\cloaksofskyrim

 

are you running the latest version 1.0 of Cloaks of Skyrim?

 

if you're also running this mod, there are reports of compatibility issues and maybe a patch needed:

have you tried changing the load order position for cloaks.esp?

I checked and I have all the files, and I changed the order but still nothing.

Have you just tried disabling and reinstalling the mod? Also are any NPC's wearing the cloaks?

Type in Help capes 0 in the console. Use page up and down to see if they are there in the files. If they are, use commands to give them to your character(s). Edited August 22, 2012 by Enatiomorph

drakelord1, well, it seems you've installed the mod correctly (version 1 right? the older versions doesn't work right) and

only have 1 ESP activated, after 3 in-game days have you see any guards wearing cloaks yet?

 

Are you running any other 'crafting' mods that might be interfering or change the smithing tanning rack system?

(like 'Winter Is Coming' or some fancy UI menu categories overhaul or smithing perk addons).

 

Have you checked all the tanning rack options? Did you click select 'Hides' or whatever, maybe 'Misc'?

(i'm not familiar with this new version of the mod which may have added custom menu selections to the tanning rack).

 

in your skyrim.ini file, do you have this setting?:

[General]

bLoadLooseFiles=1

 

as Enatiomorph suggested, go to console and enter: 'help cape' or 'help cloak'

to see if any of the new modded items show up in the list (PgUp/PgDn to scroll thru the list).

 

what other mods are you running? post the contents of your DLCList.txt here.

I have been searching the net for over a week............................... For a simple solution. NPC doesnt wear cloaks, i dont have any mods that have anything to do with smithing or tanning rack system so i got lich king's armor +frostmourne mod, the ritual stone mod for infinite duration of the rutual stone spell. Thats all i got, and it works PERFECT! The Skyrim cloaks go very well with my new role char and i really got happy when i saw the amazing videos and screenshots. All of the things seems in order the plugin.txt all of the things you ppl saied or asked before are done step by step and evrything is in ORDER! Please i beg you on my knees tell me! Why! isnt that mod working! Please please! I just tryed evrything, all mods seems to work fine except that one, and that one i really like. pff ... Best regards! Thanks for the help.
