Deleted4535226User
When I view different races from one faction (in my case 'raiders') the skin tone of the body doesn't change. I'm new to the geck so I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but if I view the 'HispanicRaider' race for example, then I switch to the African American one, the skin colour of the head changes, but the body doesn't. The body skin tone always seems to default to the skin tone of the Hispanic raider race, and never changes. And in fact you can see it by loading up one of those races, then without closing the window, load up another. The head will change colour but the body stays the same. This is for females by the way. A reason why I ask this is because I'm trying to change the race of a modded companion and I'm having problems doing that. I think this might be the cause of it. If anyone could shed some light on this that would be great. Cheers
Mktavish
If this is just in geck ... I would encourage you to try other monitors , and or just change the display resolution. Which often times depending on your monitor / comp ... will have some parts of the geck displays out of wack , or lack of needed detail , scrollability .And then sometimes you need to reset things so to speak. Which close out / save usually fixes. But also restart the geck ... and even replace value's stored in the geck.ini files back to default. The geck is an "as is" tool which we need to learn how to baby it ... and possibly circumvent it's pitfalls. Some peoples systems and modes of operation just make it hard to chew on. So definitely no one size fits all. But on the game render side ... you need to turn the .esp into an .esm ... which should alleviate the common white head bug.
