Ling's Finer Things-Mod Dependency for Other Mods

Hi all, I thought that maybe with all the goings on and all, I thought that maybe with the possibe banning of Earache42 and the rest of us Nexus users unab;e to use a lot of his mods like Ling's Finer Things, XCaliber, Book Of, I was wondering if there was a "substitute" for it we could use until further notice so our games DON't Crash?

 

People here their mods are dependent on other mods in certain ways and link together, and I was wondering if anyone knew a replacement mod by chance that would work just as good and have the same items as Lings Finer things does, and not cause my game to crash?

 

As it is, I cannot play my several games until further notice and have to start a new game now.

Hi, I Have notes Given to me showing how to Bypass Dependents. Whether or not it works for you , it does in fact work well to an extent. Some mods that are Over resilient with dependency on others, no so well.

 

Tools needed: FO3Plugin and FO3Edit. With these, you can create Blank files for any mod a mod calls for in an error readout in the Fo3edit program. Most of the time this works, not all the time. but it is Enough to answer your Issue. I hope it helps. :biggrin:

Earache may have been banned, but most of his mods are either still present or have been re-uploaded (with permissions) by other authors.

The Book of Earache mod was never re-uploaded though, but it has been integrated into Freddy's My Utility World - MUW - v3
