zaselim
i deactivate almost all of my mods and played the dawnguard mission from the start (had the old save), still no progress...
xlcr
zaselim, only safe thing i can think of without trying to use buggy setstage commands is to try uninstalling/reinstalling the Dawnguard DLC and replaying using an earlier gamesave.By the way, many people are not getting issues with Dawnguard, i don't think just 'disabling'the mods you had is enough, you probably need to completely uninstall them also.Again, i'm just guessing at what may be wrong with your game.. Is your player character already a vampire or werewolf or a non-standard modded race? What does your DLCList.txt look like right now? (search for this in your systemdrive).Try scanning the savegame you're using with Skyrim Savegame Scanner by Mikanoshi - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15054to see if there's anything embedded in there that shouldn't be (not that there's much you can easily do about garbage baked-into a savegame). xlcr
zaselim, this is just a longshot idea; but, you might want to consider using a BSA utility and extract all the loose folders/files from the dawnguard.bsa archive and carefully copy them to your skyrim install. Technically, doing this shouldn't make any difference other than the skyrim engine not having to search for game files in an archive all the time - - this is just something i did and i'm not experiencing issues with dawnguard running skyrim w/100+ mods. Wish there was a simple solution for the Harkon transform glitch you're getting, maybe a matter of you just replaying that scene until the scripting bypasses the object error or whatever the issue is maybe.. vertex23
I had a similar problem with the end of the Dawnguard chain. The final script wouldn't start and the quest would not continue, however, if the script did run, he would turn invisible half way through the fight and nothing would happen. After about 15 re-loads I finally got it to work... Just keep loading the saves and hope it works. Dawnguard is extremely buggy; a staple for Bethesda.
