SSE create a custom follower mod

i know this has probably been asked before but the ability to create your own follower would be cool, im pretty sure you can do it in fallout 4 and i know you can do it with the creaiton kit but its a pain in the ass lol so if somebody wanted to make that mod thatd b cool, theres a mod called familair faces on oldrim that kinda does it but was never ported to SE

I know fallout 4 has one, I think SkyrimSE should too.

yea specially since creating a follower on SE with nifmerge doesnt work atm

Use Nif Optimizer to convert the exported .nif and the one in facegendata to LE (Headparts, Smooth Normals ONLY!). Then you can use NifMerge. Convert back to SE with Optimizer
