CTD when entering inns/other places

I don't know what to do anymore. I was getting CTDS every single time I tried to go into an inn. But I was able to coc whiterunbanneredmare and it let me in. So I tried to do that with the other inns, but it would CTD. It only worked for the bannered mare.

I've made 3 new characters today to try and make it work. My current character I just made maybe 5 minutes ago can go into inns, but she can't go into the "Divine Elegance Shop". I have her as a Half dragon race. I have deleted the skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs and the appcache and reset my computer. I'm not sure what my issue is with the game.

I just wanna play it already :l I'm not even running a heavily modded game, but I feel as though my character cosmetic could be an issue? I made a character that was just generic male nord, and he had no issue going into the divine elegance store.

Can anyone point me into the right direction? I'd really like to keep playing the half dragon race though.

Heres my mod list.

hello there.

sometimes there is mod conflicting, if it is happening inside the building, that's mean you have mod that altering inside of building. that can be also corrupted or broken files missing, do you have "Cutting Floor" mod ? if yes, check the mod that add "Inn or Town" like Jk's mod, check whether they have "Cutting Floor" patch or no.

Like thats the thing. I made sure to take off every mod that involves altering buildings for the most part.

I can't find any of my mods that involve altering any kind of inn or building. I don't know whats causing it.

hey there.

woah hold on, you can't just uninstall a mod in current playthrough (unless the mod page says "its safe"), try to start a new game and see if it's help or no.

ps : uninstalling mod in current playthrough is devil for Skyrim :p

Nonono, I mean. I haven't downloaded any. I've avoided them like the plague. I had an issue with building altering mods on my old computer from years ago, so I refuse to download them. The only one I downloaded a couple months ago was a clutter/furniture mod. But I unistalled it shortly after I downloaded it.

So I haven't had any altering building mods whatsoever on my last 4-5 characters.

Plus i've made new characters multiple times today. Still persists.

1. Download Wyrebash

- I find it immensely useful for determining if there are any plugins that are out of order (way better then LOOT); they'll appear red. Click any plugin that shows up red to see if you need to re-arrange the plugin so it'll showup green. Mods that have out of order Skyrim main files (dawnguard, dragonborn, hearthfire), you can safely ignore.

-If you have mods that alter level lists, ie: gives NPCs new stuff, like armors to wear, you'll want to use the Bash Patch function so it will ensure NPCs and the like won't be causing crashes due to being unable to determine what armor to give them.

2. Download CrashFixPlugin

- Enable the OSAllocators thingy and fiddle around with the CustomMemoryBlockSize to make sure you don't crash due to memory issues.

-Also enable the RecordCrashInfo=1 so it'll write to file what exactly is causing your crashes (it'll write to CrashFixPluginLog in your SKSE/Plugin folder)

Also, are you using MO, NMM or Vortex to manage your mods?

I'll give that a try! Thank you!

I'm using NMM.
