beantownfan73
After a year long hiatus from Skyrim SE I decided to play again. I had to reinstall everything for the mods; MO2, Loot, WryeBash, etc...when trying to clean the plugins I'am encountering an error that I have never seen before. After the quick clean process in tes5edit I get an "access violation" error. UAC is off on my pc. All permissions have been changed to allow access. The error is followed by a memory address as well. When I do it again today I will make note of the complete error message. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? I have the game installed with Steam, everything is official and legit. I bought the game from steam. My laptop has 12gb ram and 3.4 ghz processor so those ought to be ok I assume. Here is one of the errors i get: "[00:00] Error saving Dawnguard.esm.save.2019_05_09_07_17_28: File Dawnguard.esm contains top level group without known sort order: GRUP Top "VOLI" This error pops up after the cleaning process: Access violation at address 00BE8994 in module "TES5Edit.exe". Read of address 00000000 Lastly, of the 3 DLC's, the quick clean process worked for one and several plugins/mods. Seems to be isolated to DLC. Testing with other mods now to see if error is replicated. UPDATE - I'm an idiot, i was using the wrong program. I have Skyrim SE and i was using TES5Edit instead of SSEEdit. Once i switched everything works as it should. Edited May 9, 2019 by beantownfan73
