RequiemOfLove
For some reason when I load the game the textures that involve grey colouring won't work, ie; the smoke on main menu and load screens, snow, most armors, some hairs. Instead the area where the texture should be is the bright blue colour(like when you disable something via console command) Any suggestions on cause? Any possible fixes? 00Valk00
Any mods installed? Open Steam then your game library. Right click on Skyrim and go down to options. On one of those tabs there is an option to verify game files. Run that and see if finds/fixes anything.
RequiemOfLove
I had already checked that, but just in case I checked again, but there were no problems found. I also just updated the drivers on my graphics card, and still no fix. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well, so I'm just not sure what the issue is. I'm not the most tech savey person, so I can only figure out so much on my own.
Georgiegril
What card? What update? The purple is from missing textures, not sure why the verify cache thing didn't overwrite. Might be a card/driver issue.

Georgiegril
I don't know much about Radeon, sorry. However, you might try reinstalling, or going to the Radeon website and getting either the newest drivers or (if that's what you have) trying to roll back to an older one. Also make sure you get the update that is correct for your version of windows.

burritokingre
Having the same issue. Haven't played since I first bought the game. No mods installed. Verified integrity, re-installed game, defragmented files. Can't find a fix for this. AMD Radeon 6700 series. Intel i7. Windows 7 (64 bit operating system). 8gb RAM. Help would be much appreciated! LucDeveroux
Maybe you have a mod zombie. Have you at any time a texture mod installed? If so, have you looked into your \data\textures folder if there are still some there?
