ryanra116
I've noticed (since beginning to replay FO4 after ~1 yr) that the night sky, including stars and the moon, flicker when I move the camera. I can also see boxes or outlines of the light/reflection in the skybox. The skybox is pixellated as well. Is this a normal issue people experience with the game, or is something wrong on my end? I have no mods installed and am playing on a recently downloaded version of the game. The only piece of hardware that has changed in the recent past is my monitor. I've gone from 1920x1200 to 2160x1440 and now have GSYNC. I have disabled GSync for FO4, but that doesn't appear to solve the issue. If anyone has solved this issue, or has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear to them. Thanks! Edited May 12, 2019 by ryanra116
DarkHawke17
Hey there. I'm currently experiencing the same issue on my end, and genuinely have no idea what is causing it. It's jarring as all hell, but I have found some things that appear related to this occurring. For one, it only happens with the weather preset: "Clearest". You can change the weather of the world by the console command "fw [enter series of numbers and letters]" EX: "fw 001D670E" for the Clearest weather setting which will cause the flickering. Inversely, if you set your weather to only the "clear" setting, which is "fw 0002B52A" the flickering will disappear. This seems to me like the mesh/texture of that weather preset itself is broken or corrupted somehow.
