Crashing On Load

I have two computers with the same exact mods installed. On my desktop, I can play on the 1.6 TESV.exe without any issues. The 1.7 TESV.exe crashes in certain indoor cells, caves in particular. However, my issues is that I can't load any save whatsoever on my laptop with the exception of starting an new game or loading my earliest save (right after character creation). Other saves, such as the most recent ones that work fine on my desktop keep crashing on my laptop. I've updated my video card drivers and have tried to load without any mods, but no luck. Can anyone give me a hand?

I don't know if this will help taitai....but I had a similar problem occur after I added Dawnguard to my game....getting consistent CTD's when trying to load from 'Continue' and 'Load'....either one or the other would do it, I had to keep juggling between the two and it was getting worse....someone eventually told me it sounded like my save files were bloated...had a look, they were far from bloated, but it did give me an idea....I had an enormous amount of 'saves' in my save file, so deleted about 90% of them and haven't had the CTD problem since....maybe it's something you could try?...Otherwise I am sorry, I have no idea, I am tech-no-logic with computers. Nope, no luck. :(

I've discovered the issue. As it turns out, I managed to replicate the crash on my desktop. I replaced the Skyrim.ini with a new one (fortunately, I backed up the stable one). Verifying integrity won't help. Therefore, I took the good one from my desktop and put it in my laptop. Now, I can load my saves.
