Settlement Management

Okay, I took a year off from this game for a few reasons of the NO SMALL frustrations:

1. Is the Settlement Issues:

One of the issues, is assignment of jobs. It takes literally in some Settlements 20 minutes or longer to get someone assigned to a crop and/or stall - depending on the settlement.

* Some work just fine and other's are literally a P.I.T.A. to get it done!

I had hoped, incorrectly that maybe taking a break and noting the various " updates " that likely this would be fixed? Boy, was I wrong .... it's still showing me Bethesda still does NOT have a clue what they are doing!

I did try:

Settlement Management Software -- Current Version

. o O ( If there is a better one, I'll be happy to check it out. ) :)

But at this point, I'm ready to take another year off, as I'm tired of being frustrated that this game is just CRAPPY. Just glad I did not pay full price for it. I think this was the " sign " of Fallout 76 and just how bad that was going to be.

Why don't you go with sim settlements?

Sorry for the delay, RL and such. :P

I looked at that and went:

1st - This Mod Creator sure did go the extra mile, two miles, .. 10 miles to do the job right! :)

... This is what Beth should have done in the first place, instead of taking the crappy short cuts - Full of Bugs - route they did. Beth really had NO idea what they were doing and should have left well enough alone.

2nd - At this stage, I have some mods that I like, where the learning curve for S.S. is just too much to get some NPC's to attend to Farming and/or Vendor Stalls.

So I guess, it's what it is .... I just have to accept that this bug will continue until I decide to bit the bullet and learn S.S.

Thanks!!!! :)

There's not much to learn. If you want to handle things largely on auto, SS does just that. You can even assign companions, each having their own strengths and weaknesses, to build their own settlements.
