Modded Skyrim LE: Instant CTD as soon as I open the map in some interior locations of Solstheim

Hello everybody,

Well, as the title says: While in some interior locations of Solstheim, opening the map means an immediate CTD. Two locations in which this fenomena always happens are Fort Frostmoth (040142F8, DLC2FortFrostmoth01) and Castle Karstaag Caverns (040142FB, DLC2CastleKarstaagRuins01). There are interior cells in which I don't have this problem, one of them is Glover Mallory's House (04017EC4, DLC2RRGloverMalloryHouse), but I highly suspect that the more time I will spend in Solstheim the more broken interior maps I'm going to find.

About my system: i5-3570K stock frequency, 16 GB RAM DDR3 1600, GTX 980 Ti from Zotac with stock OC and 6 GB VRAM, 63.6 GB available in the Hard Drive (SSD) where tha game is installed. My OS is Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.

The game is located here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim

Version: 1.9.32.0

I am using Wrye Bash 307.201807040057 (standalone) as my mod manager and for the bashed patch.

SKSE 1.7.3 rel 48

Load order managed by LOOT 0.12.5 (build c398b9c6), the version recommended for STEP 2.10.0, with quite a few manual metaedits added by me.

TES5Edit 4.0.2

This is my load order, copied from LOOT.

First off, do you have any mods that alter the Solstheim map/interior maps? If so, this is where I would start looking in terms of potential mod conflicts. Second, your load order is a MESS. LOOT, while useful, is not perfect so some manual tweaking of one's load order is required. Try putting mods that do similar things together in your load order. For example, quest mods should be loaded with quest mods, follower mods should be loaded with follower mods, New Lands with New Lands, etc. Properly sorting your load order will go a long ways toward stabilizing your game. Hope this helps.

@ff7legend

Thank you. I'll have a look into the few mods I have installed that touch maps, perhaps there's something wrong with any of them. And will try to better sort my load order. I will report later with the results.

This is what I've tried so far. Firstly, I've had a a look into my installed mods which touch maps, such as A quality world map and Atlas map markers, but I haven't noticed anything out of order in them. In the second place, I've seen the interior cells in which the crash happens when I open the map with TES5Edit. Everything seems OK, no conflicts at all. Finally, I've made some changes in my load order because Wrye Smash showed that I had two or three plugins which had masters in the wrong order. It's been fixed. Now every plugin has a green checkbox in Wrye Smash.

Sadly nothing of what I've done has served to fix my CTDs whenever I open the map in those problematic interior cells in Solstheim.
