Skyui and A Matter of Time plugins wont stay enabled.

I am using the very latest version of Vortex. I am attempting to install these mods into Skyrim.

At present I have TWO mods installed, A Quality Map (ty Gopher!) and Skyui. Of these two, the Skyui plugin wont stay enabled. I have deployed. I have enabled the deploy toggle in settings. None of this is resolving the issue, being that the Skyui plugin wont stay enabled.

Sky UI and A Matter of Time require skse/skse64. Have you installed the script extender?

EDIT: I'm mistaken about A Matter of Time. It does not require skse/skse64, but it does require Sky UI, which requires skse/skse64.

Ah yes. I do have SKSE installed, manually, yes.

Using the skse loader in your game data folder, are you able to launch your game? If so, are you also able to launch your game using the skse tool on the Vortex dashboard?

I am able to launch it from the SKSE launcher, but I am not seeing an option to do so in the Vortex Dashboard. I tried to provide a screencap of my dashboard but the forum is not letting me post it.

In the Dashboard, I have a box saying SKyrim. Next to it is a list that has Wryebash, FNIS, TES5Edit, and a logo-less Skyrim Script Extender. I have tried double clicking on that to no avail.

I have made sure it is done correctly, and no. Nothing.
I know SKSE is installed into the game properly, as I am returning the version of it from the console command getskseversion. The problem I THINK I am seeing is that Vortex is not properly identifying it's presence. I think.

Running your game from the Vortex dashboard is totally optional.

You can stop Vortex and run that way if you want.

On the Vortex dashboard, there is a big ICon: Add Tool.

Click that to add SKSE as a tool. Make sure your paths point to the game directory.
