Reapersedge69
so i recently seen on the steam news section that borderlands GOTY enhanced edition has a third person mod. i was excited to try it but i have never used a mod before and have zero experience in this field. i installed the mod but my computer says it can't open the file. i tried to install Vortex but the game isn't supported. is there something im missing here? any help would be appreciated and i got plenty of room to download what i need. Guest deleted34304850
if vortex doesnt support the game, then you can't use it to mod that game. you may want to ask on the specific forum for that game to see how other people are modding it.vortex is being updated all the time, so at some point, i am sure it will manage mods for that game, but maybe not right now. What you're missing is a mod manager that can handle mods for Borderlands GOTY. Vortex is not one of those mod managers. Search the web to find a mod manager designed for Borderlands. If there's not one, then you can probably find some instructions about how to install mods manually.
rmm200
Borderlands is - "different", and may never be supported by Vortex. There are a number of Borderlands mods hosted on Nexusmods.A typical install instruction is: Make sure to download Dr. Zed's Patch first and foremost. It's the most essential piece of data to run any Borderlands Mod. You can find it here: Dr. Zed's Patch In order to start finding the custom made loot you'll need a "TCD Loot Vial" in your inventory. It's implemented into the inventory using WillowTree (Borderlands Save Editor): WillowTree (Tutorials on how-to can be Googled/YouTubed) After having opened your save file with WillowTree, you can start implementing one of the following 'Vial Codes' into the "Items" tab of WillowTree: Note that both an executable and a save game editor are required in addition to the mod. Not gonna happen here.
