CABS
Tannin, Good News, the VFS works! 1) Purge the mods. 2) Install VFS Extension. 3) Fix all the resulting conflicts from the purge. 4) Deploy the mods. The deployment was going fairly quick until it started deploying 100,759 files. I didn't time it, but that step probably took 15+ minutes to complete. Don't know why that took so long, but it is far better than over 4 hours that it was taking on the Move Deployment method. The game loads with no errors and seems to be very stable in about 1 hour of play so far. This is a workable solution. Thank you. Another question, will Vortex auto update the extensions or should I watch the VFS download page for future updates? With my good experience I sincerely hope you continue to develop this alternative tool. If you need a tester I would be willing to help. I am also having some cyclic rules errors involving the Dragonborn and Hearthfire esm plugins, but I will report that issue through Vortex. Thanks again. Tannin42
Unfortunately Vortex doesn't currently update Extensions, this is a feature planned for the future though.
CABS
Tannin, I updated Vortex to ver 0.18.5 and the USVFS extension is still Enabled but does not show up in Settings>Mods as an available deployment method. I tried Disabling/Enabling and then Uninstalling and Reinstalling the extension (reloading Vortex each time), but it still does not show up as an available deployment method. The only available option is Move Deployment. Unfortunately I am back to where I started. Is there any way to get the VFS to work? The VFS was working very good except for handling ENB's and ENB Presets. I had to manually load those into the game folder to work.
