Skibble
Hi everyone! This is a thread about Skyrim Highlevel experience and what mod are outthere or are needed to improve it. I'd like you to tell me what mods do you use and how do they work, so we can see whats missing.First of all what i think about Skyrim endgame:I personnally prefer to stick to my character until i explored, killed and looted each and every single pixel in the world. I want to have a hard time starting the game and thou it should become easier as my char grows, i never want to become a walking god.Unfortunatly, the vanilla game doesn't support this. Once you reach lvl 50 the game is basically over. You will walk around 1-3hitting any foes and start playing with solitude guards in search for a small challange. This way you wont probably be able to finish all the quests but hey.You just finished about 30% so far and the only reasonable thing to do is to the rush main story-> delete character -> create new one. Also, you cant continue as the type of character you inteded to be, because all relevant perks reached their cap and you won't be earning any experience if you keep playing as a mage e.g.. Screw this! I want to fight with a knife between the teeth till the end of oblivion and I dont care if bandits aren't supposed to wear deadra gear - they aren't supposed to be killed in hordes by a weirdo swinging his neon-flickering-swordOfImbaMultikill either. So I started with Skyrim Cummity Uncapper to extend my life as whatever i wanted to play. Then I added MoMod and MoWars so there would be more and higher enemies and finally I added Enhanced HIgh-Level Gameplay. However all these mods just improve the monsters to the level of draughr deathlords which are strong compared to others but still no challange. I still don't need to use potions or care about (even actually hire) a follower. Trolls don't die in 1 hit, but in 4 and they still don't even come close to me. So, what other good mods are there? Which are you using? Are there other ways to improve the diffuculty without crippling myself with stupid rules like never use a weapon / don't wear armor? Do you even feel like endgame needs to be more challenging like i do? Edited August 24, 2012 by Skibble

Scaling module in that oughta ensure enemies you face are near your level. Link Also, opt to play without upgrading weapons via blacksmithing. Thats the edge which makes a pickaxe compare to daedric s***. Edited August 24, 2012 by esmo
Skibble
skyrim redone looks great and i'll try it in future, but this looks like a big mod which affects many parts of the game I already have some good mods for. So this might not be compatible with a lot of stuff i don't want to miss. also i just found this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4406 It work fine and is compatible with everything, but MoMod enemies will onehit you on sight (no I get a dose of my own medicine :D) gotta tweak this a bit Edited August 24, 2012 by Skibble
ScrooMoose
I feel the same way. A process i use to increase gameplay difficulty, and i have been doing this since fallout 3, is to go check this guy out Gopher is very good at what he does and is very in depth when he reveiws a mod. He may have what you are looking for.Hell at last look he was at 46 videos just for skyrim alone. If he hasn't got what you are looking for, i may be able to add more creatures to lvl'd lists making it harder as you get higher in lvl. Let us know what you are looking for, in depth, and many will try and see what they can do.
esmo
Well I might as well rant here a bit, what I miss from the past and wish Skyrim had. In Morrowind, every NPC had a class. Be it merchant, fisherman, beggar or pilgrim, they had a class. And every class had abilities. I also believe those NPC had stats, didn't delve to 'em tho. Those classes and abilities dictated what items, spells and skills those NPC used. One particular thing I miss, related to above, is how I was able to outfit those NPC. I sold 'em a full chitin armor, they would wear it. I'd sell 'em the Masque of Clavicus Vile, they would wear it and I would laugh my ass off pointing at 'em. I really miss that, made the NPC more unique. Not to mention their combat prowess was improved, too. Another thing; in Skyrim we can upgrade our armor and weapons. Why can't the NPC do that? They cycle with grindstones and hammer away at workbenches, they might as well do something to their gear or to items they have for sale. Or, could the leveled lists have some pre-upped items from time to time? Or is there already a mod that solves something like this? I also wish there were more cannibals in Skyrim. Maybe some primitive dunmer refugees holed up on the eastern side of the map? With their unique chitin/bone equipment with some twisted daedra worship? I so miss being yelled "You N'wah!" at. :) /endrant
