zBeeble Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 While this is my first post here, I'm not particularly new to computers, games, modding, programming ... etc... you get the picture. I've spent some quality time with the Gambryo mod tools for various games (I own most of the games produced with it), but never published anything. 10 cent background: Started playing FONV again recently. Had finished it awhile ago. Started again with dozens of mods. Mostly very happy. Now the problem: There's a big red square with an exclamation point around the world. Often around a reloading or workbench, but sometimes on a shelf. I realize that this is a missing texture or model, but I don't know which mod is causing this, so I go fire up the GECK and go find it. And I do find it. Seems to be a weapon called the "Gopher Getter". An example would be one that is in the front store room in the Good Springs Saloon. Anyways... my real question is: how do I tell (besides individually switching mods on and off ... of which I have 56 according to Nexus Mod Manager --- given the slow startup of the game, that could take hours) which mod the asset comes from (or... I suppose... which mod deletes it's model --- if that's what happened)? I've been through the instance object's panel ... and I've found the master objects panel, but none of the tabs seem to indicate where it's from Alternatively, can I just assign a model that will substitute all the instances in the game? I don't really care if it works --- It's just jarring to see that dummy model everywhere. I've already created my own .esp and set it active --- I have the basics. DizzasterJuice Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 I found this post in the AG Supplementary Uniques thread......users should pay attention when they install AG SU and are going to install Weapon Retexture Project textures afterward. In fact, if they extract the GRA UPDATED WEAPON MESHES, they should delete all the gopher getter nif files extracted as they won't be compatible with Millenia's textures and extract the gopher getter files from the "Install first" folder. Extracting the millenia textures compatible files and choosing " overwrite all" will take care of any other problem as the folder already contains compatible "De Little Carbine" and " Camp Rifle" nif files.
