CirceanGirl
Thank you so much Adominus -This addition to "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1" did the trick. The mod link 21741 above no longer works, but these items seem to resolve it without the mod. I had the same problem and reading the very first post help me solve it. What I did was add downguard.bsa to every line that had update.bsa in it. There were only two of them.[Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1<Same Line>SArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa <--- Add it here </Same Line>SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txtiRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1iRetainFilenameStringTable=1iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0bUseArchives=1SResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsaSResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa <--- Add it hereThanks!!Edit:The changes were made in SkyrimEditor.ini which is located in your skyrim folder. Necro'ing this thread to confirm that these changes also fixed my CK startup crash with Shared\misc\BGSLocalisedString.cpp which OP was also experiencing. I've been using CK for a while, but something must have modified the .ini file.
