Odd Crafting Menu issue

Odd issue with enchanting, potion, smithing ect. where when I go up to a crafting station and I interact, the menus all pop up but exits after about 5 seconds after as if I had pressed the exit button.

 

Have serveral mods installed but wouldn't know if they would contribute to the issue as the last few that I installed were sky texture maps and for some reason after that had this quick exit issue. (uninstalled those mods and problem persisted)

 

Seeing if there is a work around or just have to go mod by mod to see if one restarts the issue.

You may have to go mod to mod. Also do a steam file verification on your skyrim files with all the mods installed. You might get lucky and it will fix what the mod messed up.

the crafting bug has been around forever, it seems. From UESPwiki:

Sometimes the game can glitch where using smithing/etc. stations doesn't work and instead just switches to third-person for a second, makes a clicking sound, but never actually allows the interaction. There are various fixes that may or may not work including: wielding/sheathing your weapon, changing equipped weapons/apparel, shouting, interacting with a station while it's in use by another, or a combination of all of these.

 

Also, if you have remapped your keys that may be the problem as well. It seems that remapping R to the mouse is particularly an issue.
