vasthrana
What keyboard are you using? If using more than 1 for testing, please name both models. Also specify its connector, PS/2 or USB?
kevkiev
might be a simplistic suggestion, but might be worth a shot to try verifying your game cache in steam?
CaptainxCrunchx
yes i verifing my game cache in steam. but it doesent find something -.- . my keyboard is one from bazoo and the other was an logitech. but both work fin except skyrim -.- Edited August 26, 2012 by CaptainxCrunchx
Georgiegril
So the second keyboard doesn't work either? It's along shot, but sometimes just verifying the game cache on steam works for the oddest problems.... If you try that and still no luck: Can you post the following: Computer specs (just basic type, I saw the other information above)Keyboard specs (manufactor and model, or if it is a laptop)Game settings (what it says under the gameplay section, or a screenshot)from your pref.ini file, everything under the [Main], [interface] and Controls Also, anything else you changed when you updated to 1.7/Dawnguard (like did you update audio or graphics drivers, start using a game booster, anything at all that might be different)
bben46
The advice on making a change in the Skyrim prefs.ini was the proper advice, but the wrong location. The one you want to change is located in (Win7) C:\users\your user name\my documents\my games\skyrim\skyrimprefs.ini  For some obscure reason, Beth loves to put the working ini files in a place away from the game that is buried deep in the file structure. It may be a good idea to make a shortcut to that folder in case you want to make any more changes to ether that ini (SkyrimPrefs.ini or the Skyrim.ini And, your game saves are also located in that folder - in the subfolder named 'Saves'.
