Just updated Vortex. Can not find Skyrim SE thru Steam

I'm running Vortex 0.18.5

After being prompted to update my client, which I did, I found that Vortex was no longer finding Skyrim. I ran quick and full scans and even browsed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition to find the TESV.exe file that Vortex was prompting me for but received an error that read, "This directory doesn't appear to contain the game. Expected to find these files: TESV.exe" when I selected the folder mentioned above.

I also manually searched my PC for the file and it too wasn't showing.

I'm not sure if this is because I was trying to add "Skyrim" to Vortex and not "Skyrim SE" but the only Skyrim options that come up when filtering the games within the "Supported" tab were "Skyrim" and "Skyrim VR". I also made show "Show Hidden Games" was enabled as well so that way nothing was hidden.

Yes, I know what the executable for Skyrim SE is, I'm describing to you what I did and what this software is now asking for and why I'm now in this position.

I was successfully using Vortex until I updated it when it prompted me to do so. After it successfully updated, it was no longer seeing my game list (which was only Skyrim SE) so I clicked the "Supported" tab and Skyrim SE is not appearing whether I click/unclick the "Show Hidden Games" button. The closest option is just "Skyrim" or "Skyrim VR".

I'm choosing the closest option to the game I have installed because Vortex is not providing me Skyrim SE which I already said was likely the reason for the error.

The only thing mixed up is Vortex only providing me two Skyrim options, neither of which are SE as it was doing prior to the update.

Your Extensions list should look like this.

Game: The Sims 4

Game: Skyrim

Game: Skyrim: Special Edition (and make sure it is enabled)

Game: Skyrim VR

Game: Starbound

You will never get the Skyrim extension to work with Skyrim SE.

I am still running 0.18.1 and have gotten no prompt to update.

Updates are set to Testing.

I knew it wouldn't, but figured I'd explore it in terms of troubleshooting.

Thank you RMM, the extension was disabled (not sure why). I was looking in the "Games" tab thinking I had to find my game, not an extension, so thank you.

Most important: Did it solve your problem?

Now I need to figure out why my Vortex is not updating.
