kingdark
Huh. I don't THINK so. Still, how do I figure it out whether or not it is a real bug or mod related?
Georgiegril
If it were a bug, it would probably be listed in the known bugs sections of UESP or Elder scrolls wiki pages related to either the quest item or the dungeon.Bben's basic mod troubleshooting guide can help you with the mod troubleshooting (hence the name...)
kingdark
It simply doesn't make much sense for the ring to fail to work. I'll disable all mods and see what that does.
kingdark
I disabled every mod I had and it still didn't make a difference. Does this mean it is an actual bug? (considering the problems with SOS it might be something internal that remembers a status or something.
sinnerman69
disabling the mods [un-checking ] them in your loader of choice may not be enough, the scripts from those disabled mods might be the cause of the problem, remove all scripts, textures and meshes and script extender and or dragon script extender and esm and esp extensions from your data folder and play without mods, try 1 mod a day after you've removed them all tell you can rule out the troublesome mod!.. leave in the dawnguard and base game esm files obviously Also make sure to have the latest patch 1.7 from bethesda or steam installed read up on the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch - Dark Creations site from the readme for Unofficial Dawnguard Patch - Dark Creations Bugs fixed by official Bethesda patches will be stricken through and the version of the game they are fixed in will be indicated in brackets. Bugs introduced by the USKP (yes, it happens) that are corrected in later versions will be stricken through and tagged with the version of the USKP that fixes them. The correction will appear separately in the version where the correction takes place. The USKP bug tracker numbers will be listed for bugs that have been recorded there when they are solved. v1.0 - (2012-08-19)Game Mechanics Fixes Vampiric resistance to fire was altered by Dawnguard, but the USKP had edited it to correct a description error. This has been overridden with the UDGP to reinstate the change. (Bugzilla #1711) NPC/Creature Fixes Serana's leveling script throws numerous errors in the Papyrus logs due to several missing properties. This change may not take affect if you've already met Serana. Harkon shares Serana's leveling script and it too was throwing the same errors. Changes to Harkon may also not take affect if you've met him already. Quest Fixes The DLC1PlayerVampireQuest throws errors in the Papyrus log due to a missing property that was not updated correctly in the quest records. Dawnguard caused the marker properties that act as the parent for the alchemy addition to Breezehome to become unset. This makes it impossible to buy this addition, even though the gold will be taken and the dialogue option will vanish. Alterations to the script for "Discerning the Transmundane" (DA04) that Dawnguard made have been extracted and combined with the USKP fix that properly stops the quest when completed. Placement/Layout/Ownership and other World Object Fixes Fort Dawnguard had no north marker placed. Text Fixes The resistance descriptions for vampires were listing as -20% etc when it makes more sense to list as 20% etc. Edited August 30, 2012 by sinnerman69
JupiterTheGod
From what I know (and I have lvl 100 at enchanting) there is no invisibility enchantment in-game. However, Ebony Mail does make you invisible, but you would need something very game-changing to add Ebony Mail enchantment to it, since you can't de-enchant it! Could you post a picture with something like imgur? Maybe we can realize what it is...
NEMISIES1
Invisable Enchantment and Potion work... They stop working when U grab an Item... . Run away.. apply the enchantment again .. after U picked up the Item.
landy8
From what I know (and I have lvl 100 at enchanting) there is no invisibility enchantment in-game. Maybe it's because of some mod, but I can buy a Ring of Invisibility from any Khajiit trader. Along with a number of other items with unique enchantments (like rings of fire/frost/lightning cloaks, ring of ghostveil and so on). But Invisibility enchantment effect of that ring doesn't work though.
