8 Files could not be deployed issue after updating

I'm having the same "deployment failure" error messages and they began right after I updated Vortex and LOOT.

If rolling back to a previous version of Vortex is safe in this case could someone explain to me how to do that please. I'm not as tech savy as I probably should be.

Simply take your previous version of Vortex and install it over the currently installed version. Your don't need to uninstall the current version first. If you didn't save the previous version, you can download it from the Vortex Nexusmods page.

I did NOT update files because I only play single mode and NO Co-Op mode. BUT I downloaded my Vortex as well as my SDV day before yesterday. Could I have gotten the early problem? Now I have trouble with several mods including content patcher. I cant remove these mods because I get a deploy error and because of the error I cant continue on to my games. Please assist

Thanks for chiming in Good Sir Tannin42!! Any rough ETA on next release?

What you're seeing is this issue: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/4560

Will be fixed in the next release.

It's a good idea to ask before you roll back by a major version but in this case it is safe.
