raziken Posted August 26, 2012 Share Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) I would like to see a Blaziken race mod. i would like to know how much it will cost, how many people needed to work on it, and anything else that will be required. i have ideas on design and would love for it to be an anthropomorphic human style body, that would also be easiest I'm sure.my hopes are to make a realistic race that seems to fit into the world and feels balanced, not some cartoony mesh and texture drag and drop. i have more in depth ideas and things that i don't want to leak, but let me know if your interested or have a quote on pricing for such a thing. i would like to get things started.also, here is a poll to see if people like this idea.edit 1:yes alterations will be made. things will be taken away, body type wont be like the original pokemon anyways. hairstyles ect, could be modified. the name of the race will be changed as well to avoid copyright. its been brought to my attention that this wasn't obvious. i never intended for it to just be a 100% copy. my ideas were to prevent these similarities.edit 2:also, has anyone noticed that there is no avian styled race? there's feline, um... lizard, and you could argue werewolves as the canine race (even though anyone can be one).and so i think a race that is based on blaziken would be a nice addition. it would add new challenges, advantages, disadvantages, and may require players to think differently as the new race. i will worry about making it 'lore friendly' and maybe if it takes off i can actually start thinking about a storyline and work on getting some voice actors and whatnot. raziken Posted August 29, 2012 Author Share Posted August 29, 2012 well it would be slightly modified and named into something else. thats no problem. i didnt intend for the leg spikes to be there and all. the hands would be normal human mesh instead of the three finger talons, no feathers, just fur, and some hairstyle adjustments. and thats just listing the minor things! raziken Posted December 12, 2013 Author Share Posted December 12, 2013 so after some lifestyle changes, hard work and dedication... i now live on my own, plan to have a new custom PC built, and am ready to start getting this ball rolling. i now have a paypal and some generous funds ready. i have to try and pick up the peices i left behind. i lost most of my documents on this subject some time ago, i will work on rewriting them. and as old as this post really is, i never gave up on the idea. i believe it needs to happen. What sort of racial bonuses or abilities do you think they should have that would still be in balance? No fall damage? Speech penalties for speaking through an awkward beak? Faster stamina regeneration from flight conditioning? Reduced weapon skills from having clumsy talons? A deafening screech that banishes familiars? As for the bribe, i just want to give incentive. A tip, if you will. I insist. But i would love to work on this with someone. I have a vision for this but these stupid hands of mine cannot put my visions into reality(virtual or otherwise.) The only thing in tact would be the beak/head style, colors on fur/feathers(whatever.) and maybe some hairstyles loosely based on the original but heavily tweaked.
